How it works?

An IV infusion involves a small tube called a catheter and saline based electrolyte solution that contains your selected vitamins. The infusion delivers these essential nutrients and fluids directly into your bloodstream. Since its bypassing your digestive tract, there is no wait time and the nutrition is instantly available to remedy your body’s needs.

How does the process work?

Our medical professionals place a small, thin tube called a catheter directly into your vein. Once the vein is accessed, we remove the needle, leaving the catheter behind to deliver the IV infusion. In total, the infusion time typically takes 30-45 minutes. This time is inclusive of the forms required prior to infusion as well as a quick health assessment.

What goes into the IV infusion?

Each bag is customized to the individual’s health and wellness needs. Some infusions may contain electrolytes and salts, while others may contain sugars, vitamins, and antioxidants.

Ingredients most commonly included in infusions include:

  • Saline – A solution of salt and water which is great for dehydration and hangovers as sodium is a type of electrolyte necessary for replenishing hydration.
  • Vitamins and antioxidants – Both vitamins and antioxidants are essential in boosting our immune systems and providing us energy.
  • Electrolytes – Electrolytes are minerals that helps regulate nerve and muscle function. These minerals are essential in maintaining blood pressure, muscle contraction, and keep your organ systems functioning properly.

Is it safe?

Yes, IV infusions are safe. All products that are infused into our clients are FDA approved and have therefore gone through rigorous testing to ensure its safety. Although minimal, side effects associated IV infusion are usually related with IV catheter insertion – bruising, redness, itching, and swelling at the infusion site may occur and these symptoms typically last for minutes to days.
